Project

Haskayne Legacy Park Pavilion

Spanning nearly 70,000 ft², Haskayne Legacy Park Pavilion serves as an educational hub, designed to elevate the social, educational, and event experiences of the Calgary community through a meaningful connection with nature and the Bow Valley ecosystem. Nestled within a vast 360-acre expanse, the facility stands as the latest green haven established by the City of Calgary.

Nyhoff Architecture managed the innovative design process, with The HIDI Group handling the mechanical and plumbing aspects for the community building. Built in compliance with the National Energy Code for Buildings, the facility is ambitiously aiming for Net-Zero performance. By incorporating a geothermal heating system and optimizing for low energy consumption, the project is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Anticipated to welcome the public in Fall 2023, this cutting-edge facility sets a new standard for sustainable community spaces.
