Red Deer College (RDC) Residence

The Residences at Red Deer Polytechnic (formerly Red Deer College) is located on the Central Alberta campus just off Highway 2, which connects Edmonton and Calgary. This award-winning institutional project features an all-wood expressed structure with seven strategically-placed community-oriented spaces to encourage interactions between students, ultimately to improve mental wellbeing and enhance the student experience. Utilizing a south-facing vertical photovoltaic (PV) facade combined with high-performance fibreglass-framed curtain wall systems, this forward-thinking project was designed by Reimagine Architects (formerly Manasc Isaac) to achieve LEED v4 Gold standards.
