Project

University of Calgary Quantum Lab (qLab)

Part of the University of Calgary’s Quantum City initiative, qLab is a leading-edge facility advancing research and innovation in quantum technology. Designed to support collaboration between academia, industry, and government, the building provides specialized laboratories, workshop areas, and cleanroom environments for precision research, fabrication, and testing.

In environments where air quality, humidity control, and chemical exposure demand the highest standards of performance, GlasCurtain’s Thermaframe 7 fibreglass-framed curtain wall system provides stable, long-lasting protection. Its exceptional resistance to condensation and corrosion ensures consistent thermal and environmental control in both cold climates and high-maintenance laboratory environments.

Manufactured in Canada, Thermaframe 7 supports the University’s sustainability goals while contributing to the creation of durable, low-carbon research infrastructure for Canada’s growing innovation sector.
