Frog Lake First Nations’ Children & Family, Intervention and Prevention Horse Healing Centre

Located in Alberta’s prairies, the Frog Lake First Nations’ Children & Family, Intervention/Prevention Horse Healing Centre is a purpose-built facility designed to foster healing and community connection. A recipient of the 2023 Canadian Architect Award of Excellence, this project embraces both tradition and innovation in its approach to mental health and wellness.

GlasCurtain’s fibreglass-framed curtain wall systems play a vital role in this high-performance structure, providing superior thermal efficiency and durability in Alberta’s diverse climate. The centre’s design, crafted by Reimagine Architects, integrates locally sourced glulam beams and natural materials that create an inviting, calming atmosphere. Set to open in 2026, the Healing Centre will serve as a significant resource for Frog Lake First Nations, embodying both resilience and cultural pride.
