Lake Superior Conservation Centre

Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area Administration and Visitor Centre in Nipigon, Ontario, will serve as the primary base for administrative and operational functions, including management, resource conservation, visitor experience, maintenance, and enforcement. Employing our industry-leading Thermaframe 9 PH system, this centre highlights a commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient building practices, ensuring reduced environmental impact and optimized energy performance for generations to come.

Designed by NORR to house Parks Canada’s operational and administrative functions in the area, this cutting-edge facility will offer engaging visitor experiences that showcase the region’s natural and cultural heritage, while also setting a benchmark for innovation in sustainable building practices. This exciting new project is sure to enrich the community and foster a deeper sense of connection to the natural world upon its completion in 2025.
