Project
Red Deer Justice Centre
The Red Deer Justice Centre is GlasCurtain’s largest and most ambitious project to date! Now completed, this landmark facility stands as the tallest building in Red Deer, Alberta’s third largest city. Designed by Group2 and DLR Group for Alberta Infrastructure, the 313,200 square foot Justice Centre features twelve courtrooms, with the capacity to expand with four additional courtrooms in the future. The Centre’s flexible design ensures it will continue to meet the growing needs of the community.
GlasCurtain’s high-performance fibreglass-framed curtain wall system spans the entire 8-storey undulating facade, significantly improving thermal comfort, enhancing energy efficiency, and reducing long-term maintenance costs. Engineered for Alberta’s extreme climate, the curtain wall ensures year-round comfort and operational efficiency, all while showcasing the architectural beauty of the structure.
With installation of the curtain wall completed in 2024, this project represents a major milestone for both the city of Red Deer and GlasCurtain’s dedication to delivering sustainable, high-performance solutions for public infrastructure. We are proud to have played a key role in this transformative project that will serve the community for years to come!
