Project

Victoria Park Arena

A new chapter is unfolding for Victoria Park Arena in Brampton, Ontario. The former facility, which was demolished in 2021 after a fire forced its closure, is being reimagined as a modern, multi-purpose community hub. Once completed, the arena will serve as a premier destination for sports and recreation while also housing the new 4,000 sq. ft. Brampton Sport Hall of Fame.

For this revitalization, GlasCurtain is providing our high-performance fibreglass-framed curtain wall system, ensuring a more energy-efficient and resilient building envelope. Unlike conventional aluminum framing, our fibreglass system significantly reduces thermal bridging, lowers embodied carbon, and enhances long-term durability. These benefits contribute to a well-lit, comfortable indoor environment while reducing operational costs — helping the new Victoria Park Arena meet the needs of athletes and visitors for years to come.

As a cornerstone of Brampton’s sports legacy, Victoria Park Arena will not only honour the city’s rich athletic history but also set a new standard for energy-efficient recreational facilities!
