Whitehorse General Hospital – Mental Health Unit

We’re proud to announce our first healthcare project! The new Mental Health Unit at Whitehorse General Hospital is on track to become the highest thermally performing healthcare facility in the Canadian Territories.

Designed by Northern Front Studio and Thinkspace Architecture, this innovative building pairs our fibreglass-framing system with Vision Control® insulated glass and blind units. This combination minimizes maintenance and reduces condensation, protecting the building envelope through -55ºC (-67ºF) winters and high interior humidity. These benefits enhance the unit’s durability and positively impact health outcomes for the community’s most vulnerable members. Curtain wall installation kicks off in 2024, with project completion scheduled for 2025.
