Introducing… Therm (now Thermaframe)!

In 2013, way back when GlasCurtain had only one curtain wall system based on a single profile design, hardly anyone asked: “Is “GlasCurtain” the name of the company or the product ?”  It just wasn’t a big deal! Back then, there was hardly any room for confusion between our product line and the name of our company – it was straightforward. It was either GlasCurtain or it wasn’t!

In 2019, while it’s still GlasCurtain or bust, we now proudly offer a wide variety of systems for different project types ranging from two-sided SSG to CAN/ULC-S134 certified to extra-large back sections, with many more exciting options in the pipeline. Given that we’ve grown so much in the last six years and that we have such big plans for the next decade and beyond, the time has come to spin-off our product line and in doing so take yet another important step in our pioneering journey.

Today, GlasCurtain (the company) is very happy to introduce the new Therm (now Thermaframe) product line. And even with this broadening portfolio, we can confidently say that we haven’t compromised on our original vision of providing the very best fibreglass-framed curtain wall systems anywhere in the world. The competition is intensifying, particularly from European manufacturers, but this David is ready for Goliath no matter what.

With a clear, net-zero-oriented direction for upcoming energy codes and voluntary standards across Canada and around the world, we can all see that it’s only a matter of time before the curtain wall market makes high-performance the norm. In the next 10 years, we’re going to see a massive market transformation and GlasCurtain will be leading the charge with the new Therm (now Thermaframe) product line.

To paraphrase William Gibson: the future is already here, it’s just not installed everywhere yet!

To celebrate the launch, all-new Cut Sheets are available now on the Thermaframe 7 page.
